We all have that one car— To me it all started when I was 10 years old, playing Gran Turismo 3 on PlayStation 2. The first RWD car I bought in the game was a Mazda MX5 Miata. Little did I know, that tiny roadster would leave such an impact on me that 15 years later, I’d be chasing the dream of owning one in real life.
My journey to finding the perfect Miata wasn’t easy—there were setbacks, unexpected twists (including a tragic one, which still resonates deeply with me since then), and even a mighty Suzuki Swift GTi along the way. But in the end, everything led me to the car I was meant to have.
This video is a POV drive & storytime about how I finally got my dream car and why the MX5 is more than just a roadster—it’s an experience. Mazda’s philosophy of Jinba Ittai (car & driver as one) is real, and this little Miata proves it every time I take it for a spin.
