A fight scene is a complement to a story's narrative. I think that all too often, writers seem to forget this fact. In this video, I explain a system I call the "Fight Spectrum" that categorizes every fight scene ever. I analyze several examples of both good and bad fights and break down my reasoning for why I think they pass or fail.
