Swarming Gone Wrong Swarming is a natural part of a bee colony’s life cycle, but it doesn’t always go smoothly! I’ll discuss what happens when swarms don’t settle in a new home, end up in unsafe locations, or leave the original colony weakened. I’ll also give you pointers on how to prevent unwanted swarms and what to do if you lose a swarm despite your efforts. Aggressive Hives and How to Calm Them An unexpectedly aggressive hive can make beekeeping a challenge.
