They want you to do as you're told, AND GENUINELY ENJOY IT. They want genuine loyalty. The reason they will never tell you this, is because then you'd be more able to fake it. And companies don't want fakers. So if you've ever wondered why some employees don't get rewarded for hard work, while other, worse workers DO get rewarded... this is one of the big reasons why.
