In 2023 Rahmat Erwin Abdullah surpassed Karlos Nasar's clean and jerk world record of 208kg in the 81kg category with 209kg. This lift wiped Karlos from the list of senior world records, having just months before lost his clean and jerk and total world records in the heavier 89kg category also.
