Over the centuries, different powers have ruled these harsh lands. In the earliest days, it was the Nirn deities we know as the Aedra and Daedra. Then, during the ancient eras, it was the High Elves, known as the Altmer, who emerged as a reflection of these gods. Later, humans arrived on these shores as slaves, only to eventually spread across the entire continent and establish their own dominion. So, here I’ve given you a brief history of Tamriel’s power struggles—a tale that could take hours to fully recount. But I must also tell you that these struggles are far from over. On the contrary, as a new era dawns, an even greater conflict looms on the horizon.
