Hi Friends, This week I wanted to share my thoughts on the backlash that Elon Musk is facing over DOGE cuts and how protests are impacting his business with Tesla. The department of government efficiency, DOGE, has made quick work recommending cutting several government agencies and programs. These cuts have hit people in education, environment, tax, and social security roles as well as a list of specific cuts within departments that were claimed to be redundant. Donald Trump and his administration have been unclear in media of Musk’s exact power or role in the group but the public have put most of the cuts squarely on his shoulders.
