What NOT to do on the UC Personal Insight Questions (UC Application Essay)

Here are a few pointers to help guide you through the writing process. There are some absolute "no's" that you want to know about. Avoid these things and craft the best essay that represents you! The point is to help the reader get to know you after all. I have firsthand experience with this - not only have I applied twice myself, but I have reviewed essays for other applicants and these are the common mistakes that I see. Good luck writing!
