What NOT to Do in Sweden | 10 MORE Mistakes to Avoid
Sweden is a country filled with polite and pleasant people, and they don't always show when something upsets them. But secretly they have a lot of things that they HATE. Avoid these 10 more pitfalls if you visit Sweden! For more adventures every week, subscribe to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/threestarvagabond?sub_confirmation=1 Three Star Vagabond Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/threestarvagabond/ The following 10 things are discussed in this video, and they cover a wide range of socially unacceptable things in the Nordics and Scandinavia - and in Sweden in particular: 10. Don't be pushy in public transport! Be considerate when getting on buses or the subway. 9. Don't be surprised if a Swede gives you a very direct and literal answer if you greet them with "how are you". 8. Don't be late. The situation doesn't matter - if you've agreed on a time, you stick to that time no matter what. 7. Make sure you don't wear shoes inside. Except in certain places. I wrote a helpful rhyme to remind you where and where not to wear your shoes. 6. If you're going to a Swedish house party, bring your own booze! 5. Don't talk about the immigration situation in Sweden. That just makes people uncomfortable. 4. Stop being so over-enthusiastic about everything! This one is especially aimed at Americans... 3. Swedes like to dress pretty well, so don't make a fool of yourself by looking like a slob. 2. Ironically enough, complaining is frowned upon in Sweden. The exact thing I'm doing in this video. 1. And finally... A special mention is given to how to sit on public transport. First of all, you don't sit next to anyone if you can avoid it. And I also decided to listea few more helpful rules to help out potential visitors.
