Wet versus dry firewood, how do they compare? Let’s find out!

You can actually burn wet wood straight from the tree if you know the right species to burn! This bushcraft tip might save your life if you find yourself in the woods and need a fire. The secret comes from an old British poem called ‘The Firewood Poem’ and lets you in on a secret that our ancestors used to know! But SHOULD you burn wet wood, if it’s not essential?
