We are no strangers to Christmas Markets in Europe! We have traveled from our home in Amsterdam for years now to see Christmas markets in Germany, Austria, France, Belgium and more! This year, Katrina's little sister, Kimmie, came to visit us and really wanted to see a true European Christmas Market. We think Germany has the best markets overall, and luckily the Essen markets open fairly early. Essen is only about a 2.5 hour drive from our home in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, so we were excited to make the quick trip!
