Splatoon 3 is a fantastic game and it's evident that the Splatoon community all care about the success of the game, but that doesn't mean that they agree on everything. The divides between the Competitive and Casual sides of Splatoon can sometimes lead to disagreements and animosity that could be doing more harm than good to the future of Splatoon 3 and beyond. With reactions to Splatoon 3 winning Best Multiplayer at the 2022 Game Awards being very mixed (with some still claiming that it's "just a kids game"), I believe that fixing the divide between competitive and casual Splatoon players could be the key to changing this stereotype and accelerating Splatoon 3's growth. But just how do we do that? Let's find out!
