Wasm Components for Every Language - Kyle Brown, SingleStore While initial Wasm efforts focused on a couple prominent compiled languages, as time goes on more and more languages are able to compile to Wasm and take advantage of the Component Model. This is the foundation of a new polyglot ecosystem where applications and libraries written in virtually any language will be able to communicate with each other and the system in a high level and secure way. In this talk, Kyle Brown (BA Guest Language SIG Co-Chair) will talk about how different types of languages are "componentized", the state and direction of the Component ecosystem, and how both old and new languages can benefit users by targeting the Component Model.
