Walking Tour: Upper Town - Zagreb Christmas Advent Market 2024, Croatia - 4K UHD Virtual Travel

A romantic night-time walk through Zagreb Christmas Advent Market in the upper part of the city center. We start off with a unique Zagreb feature - tunnel running underneath the Upper Town (Grič Tunnel). This year the tunnel brings to life the magic of Chris Van Allsburg’s book "The Polar Express". The tunnel ends at Radićeva Street (Radićeva ulica), which brings us to a brightly illuminated ascent to the Upper Town (Grič or Gradec). We follow the light spectacle to an old art gallery courtyard called Klovićevi dvori where a magnificent chandelier creates an atmosphere of a fairytale ballroom. Descent from the Upper Town is just as magical - stairs, zigzagging through illuminated trees, end at a well-known passage of the oldest Zagrabian hotel (Hotel Jägerhorn), where an outdoor bar offers a warm and intimate mood for a little break with a drink or two. The Jägerhorn Passage exits at the popular Ilica street, which brings us to the main square (Trg Bana Josipa Jelačića) where we end our tour.
