VW Mk1 Rear Suspension Replace and Upgrade - Lowering car
In this video I replace the rear suspension components and lower your car. I installed lowering springs and performance shocks which make for a really nice ride. This procedure is the same for Golfs (Rabbit in the US) as well as Cabriolets.

Torque specs:
- Lower strut/shock mount bolt: 45nm or 32ft/lbs
- Shock assembly nut: 31.5nm or 23ft/lbs
- Upper shock mount nut: 20nm or 15ft/lbs
- Wheel lug bolt: 110nm or 89ft/lbs
