Vocal Coach Reacts To Godsmack | Under Your Scars | Live | Ken Tamplin Today’s video from Godsmack is a nice refreshing change. It’s not often you see bands especially in rock, putting forth a message of love and unity but today's video does that. Godsmack has been at it since 1995 when they started off playing small clubs. They made their first album for $2,500 in 1997, releasing it on an independent label. A year later they were signed to Universal Records and they got their next big break when they were invited to Ozzfest the following year. The band has gone on to produce 7 studio albums and 3 consecutive ones went number one on the Billboard 200. In total they have produced 25 top ten rock radio hits. As a result of their success the Boston-based band had August 6th declared Godsmack day in the city of Boston. I’ll be reacting to a video performance of their song “Under Your Scars”. In addition to the message of the song, I really enjoyed how the video shares footage of the band behind the scenes with their family and fans just being regular guys.
