Vibrating roller saved from the scrapyard - hasn't run for years.. Will it start?

I was offered an old vibratory roller that broke down about 20 years ago. The owner was taking it to the scrap yard so I offered him scrap value and took it off his hands. The engine had been removed and partly dismantled so I expect it has major issues.. One man's trash is another man's.. trash?
