V10E8: Curiosity in the Colorado Alpines

The week commences in the backcountry on the east side of Cinnamon Pass. I enjoy visiting some historic townsites and do some backpacking in American Basin. Beyond Ophir Pass, I follow my curiosity and delve down obscure tracks yielding decrepit structures, former mines, and breathtaking natural features. While contending with wind, I craft natural burgers, and succumb to a gluttonous plate of linguine. I make my way out of the San Juan Mountains and visit an old train exhibit and Morrow Point Dam near Cimarron, Colorado.
