In this tutorial you will learn how to use VRayBitmap, VRayUVWRandomizer, VRayTriplanarTex, Stochastic Tiling and VRayMultiSubTex to randomize the look of your models and remove unwanted texture tiling and repetitions.
I am using 3ds Max and V-Ray 5 in this demo but also describe how to use similar techniques for older versions such as V-Ray NEXT and V-Ray 3.
