In my experience these lenses are often optically superior to Nikon lenses and some are built much smaller too. These lenses for me get my Nikon SLR cameras one step closer to a Leica M rangefinder camera in terms of size, weight and image quality. (Some Nikkor lenses can be excellent but generally speaking I think Voigtlander can perform as well or better and in a smaller package).
