Unbranded chrome deck Paillard portable 1930's with red cover

Paillard of Switzerland mechanical parts placed in a made to order case. These were high end portables sold in good department stores during the 1930's. Paillard made these with both two and single spring motors, this machine is two spring, it has the basic Paillard reproducer without the Paillard company name on it, but otherwise identical to the branded machines. Massive record storage, red cloth cover with a very distinctive high polish chrome plated steel motordeck. The horn is steel and equally as long as the Victrola 2-55. You will find these in various style cases, most will be unbranded, some may have store names on them.
