Unboxing my Sky-watcher 150i and setting it up on ZWO TC40 Tripod with PE200 Pier Extension
I recently picked up a Sky-watcher 150i. This is a video showing my how I was able to attach it to a ZWO TC40 tripid (with the PE200 pier extension). Not a professional by any stretch, but hopefully this helps someone else interested in some of these details. I also talk a bit about how I'm shifting from a Sky-watcher EQ6R Pro mount, and how I was also able to attach my Sky-watcher Star Adventurer 2i on the ZWO tripod as well. I cover a bit on setting up the new mount, and then some of the cable management with one of my refractor setups (with a mini PC and pegasus powerbox). The 2.5mm to 2.1mm DC adapters I got: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2KQYL91?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title The USB B to USB A (right angle) that I got: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B74BRYD6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title Check out my featured astro Google Photos album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/tDxQUpKiovPmFrrA9 Follow me on IG: https://www.instagram.com/brentlessastro/ 0:00 Intro 1:59 Coming from the EQ6R 3:26 My Refractor Setup 6:14 The ZWO TC40 Tripod 8:23 Star Adventurer on TC40 10:33 Counterweight Kit 11:20 Unboxing the 150i 15:25 150i on the TC40 20:07 Moving Refractor to 150i 29:16 Setting Up Power Cables 31:47 Attaching Counterweight 32:52 Conclusion
