Ultimate Calibration Guide for Apple 14" & 16" MacBook Pro XDR Display - This is the way! This guide will walkthrough everything that you need to know to calibrate Apple Liquid Retina XDR display inside the 14" & 14" MacBook Pro M1, M2 and future Pro laptop with MiniLED Displays. This guide will also work for Apple Pro level displays include 27" 5K Apple Studio Display, Pro Display XDR and any future Pro Displays from Apple. I'll cover how to create a custom Reference / Preset mode for the display to control brightness & set color gamut, Fine Tune calibration on the display using Calibrite Profilier & Display Plus HL (Display Pro HL will work as well) and doing a full custom color calibration.
***NOTE***
Only Calibrite newest Display Pro HL and Display Plus HL are capable of profiling miniLED backlight displays such as Apple Liquid Retina XDR displays. All previous Calibrite / X-Rite devices are not capable of calibrating any miniLED backlight display including Apple Liquid Retina XDR inside the 14" & 16" MacBook Pro.
Credit where credit is due. This guide took a significant amount of time, effort, knowhow, and validation of methods used from my color expert / scientist friends. Anyone is free to share this, however, if anyone is going to translate this into other languages or transcribe this guide into any other medium all together, i.e. written guide on website, etc. Please credit my work and this video.
