Two men have been found guilty of chopping down the Sycamore Gap tree in what prosecutors called a "deliberate and mindless act of destruction".

Daniel Graham and Adam Carruthers were each convicted on two counts of criminal damage at Newcastle Crown Court, including the damage caused when the tree fell onto part of Hadrian's Wall.
Both men were remanded in custody until they're sentenced in July. We were in court.
