Trusting God in Worrisome Times (Part 1) - Lee Strobel

Pastor Lee Strobel encourages listeners to overcome worry by seeing it for what it is: spiritual amnesia (forgetting what God has done for us in the past). The antidote, based on Philippians 4, is prayer and thanksgiving – remembering what God has done. Lee also recommends turning the scary “what if” questions into more practical “how can I” questions. Lee also addresses the universal fear of death, which really isn’t something Christians should fear. He talks about his atheist brother just recently dying from the flu, and summarizes his own journey to faith. Lee concludes with a touching story of a pastor who likens a Christian’s death to just a shadow of the real thing.
