Review of the Triumph Bobber Black 2019 which was very kindly lent to me by the guys at Laguna Motorcycles in Maidstone https://www.laguna.co.uk/ Wow the Triumph Bobber Black is awesome! Having ridden the Thruxton and the speed twin I was keen to get the bobber motorcycle from the line up out for a ride. The Triumph Bobber Black is a great piece of kit and is not probably my favourite of the Triumph Classic Motorcycle line up. Riding the Triumph Bobber Black feels very different from other bikes I have ridden. Firstly the controls are more forward and you are closer to the ground with a low seat height, however the big difference I found was just how engaging the ride was. The styling and glorious Bobber Exhaust note made me feel like I was on a spitfire the whole time. Power on the Bobber black is amble and never leaves you wanting more. Outstanding torque through the range the bike is fit the more spirited rider while also handling perfectly when leisurely getting around town. Now I understand some purists may feel a bobber motorcycle shouldn’t be available as a mass production bike and that a bobber motorcycle should be built custom by a rider, however I’m firmly in the category of someone currently unable to do that and the Triumph Bobber is something I’m very interested in getting one day.
