TRIP REPORT | First Time on Virgin Atlantic Business Class! | London to New York | VIRGIN A330Neo

Virgin Atlantic Trip Report flying from London to New York onboard one of the Virgin Atlantic A330Neo (in Upper Class, which is the Virgin Atlantic business class) on a great summer day. Virgin Atlantic operates from Terminal 3 in Heathrow, together with other airlines like Qantas, Emirates or Cathay Pacific. After some nixe planespotting we decided to visit the Virgin Atlantic busines lounge "The ClubHouse". What an anazing lounge! Probably the best one I have seen so far! A la carte menu, several drinks and cocktails, huge space, perfect decoration... A really enjoyable place to wait for your flight! 1 hour before the flight we started our way to the A330Neo that would take us to New York. The boarding was really quick, even that it was done by bus, and in no-time we were in our Upper Class seat, ready for the, so far, best cross of the Atlantic. After a quite long taxi (with planespotting included) we took off heading west from Heathrow. After overlfying Wales and then Ireland, we entered the Atlantic Ocean. After almost 4 hours we finally reached the coast of Canada, flying already southwards towards New York. After a beautiful approach we landed on time at New York JFK airport. The taxi-in, as always in New York, was also prety long. The disembark was done by bus as well in New York, allowing us to have some amazing views of the plane. About the catering, the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class offers an a-la-carte menu service. There were 2 options for the entree, 3 for the mainn and 2 for the desser. Everything was tasty but the quantity was... let's call it "reduced". The crew was super-polite at all moments but extremely slow... the service took almost 3 hours to finish! It was extremely desperating to see it. All in all, a nice and comfortable experience onboard the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class. However, after flying both in econony and business, Virgin Atlantic economy class is better than the business class when we compare them with the equivalents of other airlines crossing the Atlantic.
