Tree Work: Rigging Ring in a Speed Line System!

There a many ways to remove a tree, we all know that but in this video, Abdon demonstrates how to apply a rigging ring in a speed line configuration! Speed lines enable us to send pieces of the tree over obstacles and in fact, can reduce the amount of time cleaning up once everything is said in done. It's no wonder why speed lining tree limbs have gained so much popularity! Rather than locking the speed line to the tree itself, the speed line locks off onto the rigging ring and by running another rope on the outer groove of the ring, you create a control/haul back line! Yes, this application may not always be applicable due to time constraints or setup, but it is always good to add a new trick to the toolbox!
