He brings over 20 years of leadership and organising experience across multiple sectors such as community, public sector and business. Clive is a founder member of the Nottingham Windrush Support Forum which advocates to right the wrongs of the so called Windrush Scandal and also celebrates the enormous contribution of the Windrush Generation to the UK. He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his commitment to helping victims of the Windrush Scandal in the New Years Honours List 2023. He has written for both print and digital media publications on issues of race, faith and community. Working nationally as Vice Chair of the Windrush National Organisation his talk will focus on what are the lessons we can learn from the Windrush scandal to transform social injustice.
