Transforming a 20 Acres into a Homestead Food Forest In The High Desert
It's been a long time in the making. After 12 years of studying permaculture and working on other people’s land, I’ve finally secured my own farm. This journey hasn’t been easy—there were moments of losing everything, starting over, and pushing forward—but perseverance has brought me here.
Located at 6,000 feet elevation, the farm comes with its own challenges: a dry climate with less than 13 inches of annual rainfall. I’m in the early stages of transforming this land into a thriving homestead. My vision includes planting 2,000 fruit and nut trees, integrating swales, and incorporating livestock to maximize the land’s productivity.
Join me on this exciting journey as I build resilience, abundance, and sustainability from the ground up! Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to follow along as I share updates, challenges, and successes from the farm.
