TOO FAR GONE? Moss & Growth Engulfing This Paving! Can It Be Rescued? Or Am I Too Late?

I cleaned the roof of this property last year, which was just as mossy and covered in growth as the paving, if not worse. Here's a link to that video if you haven't seen it before https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIcN7X3VyOI The moss and growth on this paving has caused some real damage so far, the lichen has grown deep into the flags and cobbles, the pointing, especially in the cobbles is slowly being destroyed as the moss grows into it, keeping it damp, causing it to break up, especially when it freezes in the winter months. Have I got here in time to remove the moss and growth, to restore it to something close to it's former glory. This was a tough one, and a challenge to say the least.
