In 2024, I had the honor of presenting my farewell recital at the Solitär of the Mozarteum, marking the end of 𝟰𝟭 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. This special program was the same one I performed at 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹'𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮, commemorating the 𝟰𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗡𝗮𝘂𝗺𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗻.
For this recital, I played on my five-string tenor viola, featuring:
🎻 Toccata for Thomas by Garth Knox
🎻 Bach’s 5th Cello Suite (BWV 995) arranged for lute
🎻 Arpeggione Sonata with Hammerklavier (with Florian Birsak)
While I published the Arpeggione Sonata immediately after the concert, I am now, albeit belatedly, sharing this beautiful Bach suite, with my strings tuned to G - c - g - d - g .
00:14 - Prelude
06:08 - Allemande
10:47 - Courante
13:10 - Sarabande

18:37 - Gavotte II
