While not recording in person with musicians was unfortunate, the process of making the album proved to be one that helped sustain the artists psychologically and mentally during the more difficult moments of the pandemic. The album features great musicians like Henry Solomon (woodwinds) and Gregory Allison (strings). The title of the album means simply, “to live,” inspired by the artists' favourite film. and the importance of embracing life even when it seems very difficult.
