This is how Stanford Math Tournament asked an exponential equation problem
This problem from the Stanford math tournament (math competition for high school students) https://www.stanfordmathtournament.com
We have N = the sum of all real roots to the quadratic exponential equations 2^(2x)-2^(x+1)+1-1/k^2 for k=2, 3, …, 2023. And we have to compute 2^N. This question combines various algebra concepts, including a telescoping series, quadratic equation, exponential equation, and logarithm properties, which made me love this problem so much.
