They Don't Make Gas Cans Like This Anymore!

I found this little one quart safety can at an antique store years ago. What caught my eye more than it's unique size was the way it was built like a tank. Justrite still makes and sells this same size gas can, but now it is like anything else built today, lightweight and more flimsy looking. If you have any idea why someone would need such a small gas can please let me know in the comments. All of my restorations are done on as-found objects. We do not artificially age objects just to restore them.
