This reaction results in a divine level of meditation. The frequency of 11Hz lies within the range of alpha waves. Alpha waves measure between 8Hz and 12Hz and are linked with relaxed and positive mental states. Our brain produces alpha waves when we are awake but relaxed, when we daydream, when we rest or when we meditate, to name just a few situations. Studies have shown that alpha waves activity help to stay relaxed and can lead to a reduction in stress, anxiety, discomfort and depression. The frequency of 11Hz is also in the “high alpha wave” range (10 Hz - 12 Hz). Accordingly, it has a centering and healing effect and establishes a connection between mind and body. The frequency of 1Hz lies within the range of delta brainwave frequencies (0.1Hz - 3.5Hz). Delta waves are the slowest recorded brain waves in human beings.
