Using exclusive access to Joseph Merrick's case history and medical notes, this program traces the story of the so-called Elephant Man's life, from his birth in Leicester to his premature death in the London Hospital. Aired as part of the "Q.E.D." series. Narrated by actor John Hurt - who portrayed Merrick in the 1980 Movie. Originally released in the UK on May 27th 1997.
