But in this video, I want to talk about my favorite alternative to bar chords: Triads. These tiny chord shapes can be found all over the fretboard and are one of the most important steps to fully understanding the guitar. Triads will help you with improvising guitar solos, using and understanding the CAGED system, writing your own guitar parts, and communicating with other musicians.
