The Tech Industry is Broken.

Disclaimer: This was not meant to be a "slam" piece on big tech companies, this was meant to hold companies accountable for making mistakes with bad layoff practices (which affected a lot of decent engineers). Since then, Microsoft has actually changed their tune as they've inserted empathy back into the layoff process (PIP or Severance). But the mass layoffs in January 2025 needed to be addressed by all tech companies involved.
