In this video, we arrive in Paraguay’s capital city Asuncion, this is our first time to visit Paraguay and apparently it is one of the least visited countries in South America by tourists. Undeterred we set about exploring the city of Asuncion, we only had a few days and decided to download an app to do a self guided walking tour around Asuncion’s old city. That was super interesting and definitely threw up a few surprises along the way! We learned quickly about where to go and where not to go int his city and after a day of exploring the old town we made our way back over to the more modern side Las Lomas which almost feels like an entirely different city or even country! Asuncion really is a city of two halves. Our first day exploring Paraguay was quite an eye opener and we can’t wait to explore more of this country outside of it’s capital.
