The Problem With Modern Fighters | LUKE THOMAS
At UFC Kansas City, Ian Garry scored a unanimous decision victory over Carlos Prates in the main event. There can be no question either before and certainly after this bout that Garry isn't enormously talented.
Yet, the performance left me a little flat. The young welterweight is skilled, so much so that he could very well claim a UFC title this year.
Yet, as I explain in this video, there is a difference between fighters who focus on process vs. directionality. And it seems to me there are more process fighters than ever before, something that's leaving a little bit to be desired.
