The American Viscountess visits Stonor Park, a family home steeped in history for over 850 years and one of England’s oldest continually inhabited houses. The Stonor family have lived here for 30 generations, preserving its Catholic heritage during centuries of religious turmoil with its chapel still standing from 1250. Stonor Park is also home to 5,000-year-old pagan stone circle which is how the family got their name.
