I figured that since I didn't understand any advanced post processing techniques that I shouldn't even attempt to learn this new editing skill. This procrastination or avoidance continued for the next few years and it's something I really regret still to this day. In this video, I discuss what dodging and burning is, why it's important, and how to apply this technique to your landscape photos. There's multiple ways to dodge and burn your photos within Lightroom, all are great options, it just comes down to the individual photo and specific scenario you're trying to edit. Once I began practicing this new technique with my photos, I was quickly surprised by just how easy the concept was to understand and implement into my editing workflow.
