In this lesson I solve trigonometric equations such as cos2x= 0.4 and 3sin(2x-4)=2 for a given range of x values (i.e when there is MORE THAN ONE SOLUTION). I show you how you can make a substitution to turn equations into something simpler to solve. This lesson is suitable for AS & A Level Maths. Please watch parts 1 & 2 first if you’re unfamiliar with these types of questions 😊
Question 1 👉 solve cos2x = 0.6
Question 2 👉 solve 3sin(2x-4)=2
