The Last Stand

I had a rewatch of Dune by Dennis Villeneuve. The last stand of Duncan Idaho against the Sardaukars (19 : 1) was epic and inspired this track. I definitely reused the style of percussions (from Damage library). The low throat singing similar to the Dune movie is actually made using several Mongol throat singing samples from a Splice library, and pitching them down. There is also some Koto in there (Koto 17 library) and a few other layers. Made for Weekly Beats 2024.
