These three games would be rereleased in the HD Collection in 2012. Following this, DMC: Devil May Cry was an attempt at a reboot in 2013; however, when this was met with heavy criticism the series returned to its roots with Devil May Cry 4 - which followed Vergil's son Nero as the protagonist. Finally, In 2019 Devil May cry 5 saw the introduction of Nico, as well as the return of Vergil in V and Urizen. Devil May Cry 6 has yet to be announced as of yet.
