The Inconsistent Nature of Narcissism

Narcissism, among other things, is about self-image and instant gratification. Narcissistic people don’t have a stable sense of themselves. Their sense of self is shaped by external factors, such as validation, admiration and control. But because the external sources can be fleeting, and situational, their emotional state can fluctuate as a result. This video looks at how inconsistent narcissists can be with their ideas, attitudes and behaviours, how they can often be subject to their own whims, and how other people are often subject to their ever changing standards, expectations and moods.
