Sidney Jackson is recruited by her grandmother, Geirge Mae Jackson (Irma P. Hall) who is over the music department at Mountain View Christian College. Georgia back goes out and lures Sidney back to take over the choir and help them win the Golden Voices Award. But Vickie Wilson (Tonea Stewart) the Dean has other ideas.
