'The Gadget' #12 | 7.25" 0-4-0 Beam Engine Clishay Locomotive

On Saturday the 6th of September 2020, John Heald ran his new locomotive for only the second time. The 0-4-0 freelance Clishay locomotive uses a 'Beam Engine' design and a steel boiler, proving to be John's most unique build yet. But the work paid off, and the outcome is a stunning, hardworking, forgiving engine, making it easy for learner drivers to be educated on the running of steam locomotives. All whilst hauling three fully loaded ridecars with ease for the public.
