On the 76th anniversary of the day the Falaise gap was closed, this is the second of three shows commemorating the final major battle of the Normandy campaign. We will stream live from the town centre. On August 15th 1944 about fifty young fanatics of the 12th SS Panzer-Division Hitlerjugend, took refuge in the girls’ school and held out against Canadian troops of Les Fusiliers Mont-Royal. We will also look at the bullet and shrapnel damaged church.
